Ett litet utdrag ur Theorising Nation Cinema:

"If this kind of diachrony can be associated with the play of an intertextual dialectic between containment and dispersion, then we may be able to analyse historical specific national identities. This intertextual history would be linked in some way to another kind of dispersion / coherence dialectic - for example, on the political or national-institutinal levels. The national identity of a group of films then becomes, neither the realisation of some hypothetical national Geist, nor a trivial tautology (these films were made in Germany, therefore they are part of a German national cinema), nor the catchword of patriotic claptrap. National identity ceomes an entity more or less realised precisely as a readable discursive coherence which is unstable and whose terms and / or intensity may very well shift to the point where it becomes at least theoretically possible for a historian to argue that the cinematic outpout of a give nation during a given period does not embody that particular kind of intertextual address one would call a national cinema."

Inte säker på att allt är rättstavat har inte riktigt orkat läsa igenom och kolla, satt mest och kollade på texten jag skrev av så det är lätt hänt att man tryckt fel på någon tangent här och där. Har tyvärr inte kommit något längre bit sedan jag tog en paus, har visserligen läst lite mer och försökt komma på hur jag skall fortsätta på sista frågan men utan större resultat.
